The Projects
At DFM we create Feature length and Short films, Documentaries, TV Shows, Animations, Web series, Video Reels and Trailers.
Director
Director is the most important role in the project, without them the project wouldn't exist. Their job is to bring the idea of the film to life. Over seeing the whole project. The artist vision of the film comes from them.

Producer
The Producer's job is to make sure everything flows properly for the Director. This role requires that they organise shooting, schedules, cast and keep finances in mind while the project is in motion.

Screenplay Writer
A Screenplay Writer is one of the most important people in the project. They create all the actors line of dialogue in the film and write the plot of the story.

Actor
The Actors are the medium between the director and the audience by
visually representing what the Director has in mind. Their job is to
read the screenplay and act their part in accordance to the Director
|
Camera Operator
Without of a Camera Operator, the film would just be a collection of sound. Camera Operators are very essential to the production of a film. They shoot every scene of the film. Everything you see would not have been possible without them.

Light Operator
The Lighting Operators are essential to the production of a film. They make sure that the actors and set are at the perfect brightness for shooting to give it, it's best visual recording as possible.

Visual Effects Artist
A VFX Artist is very important when working on a project that needs some impossible object to have in a scene, such as a spaceship. They create all the images that wouldn't be able to shoot in real life.

Continuity Supervisor
Continuity Supervisor is in charge of making sure everything in each shot remains exactly how it is intended to be. That object in the background are in the same position, the actors appearance is the same and the story doesn't contradict itself.

Location Manager

Concept Artist
Every scene, every prop, every special effect needs to be drawn first by the Concept Artist. They draw out story board on how the film will play out in a very basic visual form and draw up all of what the Director has in mind.

Costume Designer
A Costume Designer is in charge of designing and creating all the costumes and clothes that the actors will wear in the film.

Hair and Make Up Artist
The Hair & Make Up department ensure that actors appearance looks
exactly how it needs to be for that particular shot. They also
contribute to Costume Design.

In our DFM Society Program, members will get the opportunity to get experience in these jobs.

Marketing Team
The Marketing Team is very important to the success of the films and keep our organisation alive. This team is the most active of all positions, they constantly working during pre-production, production and post-production. They handle gathering the funds, social media accounts, emails, uploading and film festivals.
